A question you never bothered to ask
An answer that never bothered to exist
A smile that never bothered to shine
And lips that never bothered to be kissed
Feet that never bothered to travel
A life that never bothered to be lived
Fears that never bothered to frighten
Love that you never bothered to give
The girl that never bothered to hate you
Beginnings that never bothered to start
A world that never bothered to spin
A heart that never bothered to part
A child that never bothered to be born
A car that never bothered to crash
A family that never bothered to be severed
Headlights that never bothered to flash
Tears that never bothered to be shed
Flesh that never bothered to be cut
Graves that never bothered to be dug
And eyes that never bothered to shut
Journal
Insomniac's Journal
Words birthed in the internal
His subconscious' dunk-tank
These words remained unranked
Articulate the contemplations
Of these waking frustrations
Pen in hand
Sleep be damned
These are the greatest thoughts in the land
But why do they come at 4 in the morning
Must write them down
And heed the warning
His memory won't serve him as well when he wakes
If only he knew what was at stake
Words, Words, and more still left to come
Cannot stop till he sees the sun
Sunken eyes
Blood shot red
Sleep finally comes to the walking dead
